Refund & Cancellation Policy
Purpose of This Policy
Therapy sessions are reserved specifically for each client. This policy is in place to ensure clarity, fairness and respect for both client and clinician time. This Refund & Cancellation Policy is legally binding document intended to establish clear expectations and define the legal relationship between the therapist and clients regarding refunds, cancellations, and missed appointments.
While psychotherapy services differ from sale of product having a transparent refund policy helps ensure compliance with applicable consumer protection laws and professional standards, where required. This policy is also designed to promote clarity, reduce misunderstandings, and help prevent disputes related to fees or services provided
Refund and Cancellation Policy
All fees for therapy sessions that have been attended are non-refundable. Clients may cancel or reschedule appointments by providing at least 48 hour notice prior to the scheduled session time. Appointments cancelled with sufficient notice may be refunded or credited toward a future session, based on client preference. Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hour notice are charged at full session fee and are not eligible for refund or credit. Appointments that are missed without notice are considered no shows and are charged at the full session fee. No shows are non refundable. If a session is cancelled by the therapist, clients will be offered the options of: a full refund, or rescheduling the session at no additional costs.
Exceptional Circumstances
Exceptions to this policy may be considered in cases of emergency or unforeseen circumstances at the therapist's discretion.
Agreement to This Policy
By booking an appointment, clients acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
